I worked for London Fire Brigade (LFB) for the last 20 years predominantly as their Youth Engagement Manager, and I’m responsible for LFB Fire Cadets and our education in schools' provision.  My role as UK Fire Cadets Chair is voluntary, and fits around my work with LFB. I have held this privileged position since 2016 and still enjoy every minute of it. It great to be able to work with such committed and passionate colleagues in FRSs to develop Fire Cadets for young people across the UK

I have worked for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service (SWFRS) for the last 14 years originally within the HR Recruitment Team before moving across to the Community Safety Department over 10 years ago.  I am  currently the Youth and Volunteer Manager with responsibility for overseeing Youth Interventions, Fire Cadets and the SWFRS Volunteer Scheme. My role as UK Fire Cadets Vice Chair is purely voluntary but I am fully supported in this role by SWFRS.
